Silk Fabric Cutting- Botanical Print- Kaleidoscope
Kaleidoscope was in the 2017 collection which introduced a new pattern for the copper violet color way. The color was made using copper, rust, berries, hollyhock and a dash of cochineal. The pattern was folded with a traditional shibori pattern and then composted with a method I developed.
This pattern in silk crepe which is about 12mm in weight. It measures 28x38 inches. The extra part you see in the full image is not calculated in this measurement so it is extra.
You can use it to make lingerie, scarves, pouches, garments that require a mat sheen and good drape. The repeat is about 12 inches.
Water is part of the process so everything has been pre shrunk. I recommend hand wash and air dry for best care. You can use hot iron as needed.
