Shawl - cotton / hemp

These shawls are cozy and stylish. Made with a cotton/ hemp knit and dyed with various techniques using plants and minerals.

There is an asymmetrical look with one side longer that the other. The neck and side slits have been hemmed with a simple fold over and the bottom has been left unhemmed. The size will fit small to large but if your shoulders are very broad it will hang shorter.

This piece is dyed with Alkanet root and iron using shibori processes to give the asymmetrical pattern.

Hand wash and air dry is recommended.
