Scarf - Hollyhock - Abstract

Made with a 8mm weight china silk (haboti) and tinted with natures blessings.

It was manifested with hollyhock and rust in combination with shibori  inspired folding techniques and composting. Hollyhock was first introduced in 2009 and has remained one of my favorite plants to create pattern with.

Measuring 12x70 inches with a machine rolled hem and a hand sewn end hem.

Hand washing and air dry is recommended.
