Ritual Making - Thread Intuition

For these 5 hours we will explore the basics of embroidery and how to dye your own threads. Using plant and minerals, Rio will make baths and give you recipes for how to make your own. You can then start to create with greater intention, layers of meaning and plant blessings.

Beyond the basics we will discuss and practice how to create original ideas with thread and expand those ideas into creations on paper and textiles.

I will supply dye goods, textile, paper and threads as part of the material fee. I will also provide needles, hoops and informational handout.

*Please bring a plastic bag to take home damp materials, pen and notebook. Dress accordingly.

There will be a 1/2 hour break. If you need to eat please bring food to sustain you. I will provide hot tea and cookies.
