natural dyed fabric- silk - botanical print

This silk crepe is a one of a kind print made with several process that involve plant and mineral dyes. By combining shibori and composting with hollyhock and dandelion root this diagonal pattern was created. The silk has a light weight but it is not sheer. The width is 44 inches by 54 inches long. You could make some cool garments or accessories with this fabric. Water is part of the dyeing process so everything is washable and shrunk. I recommend hand wash and air dry for longest color life.
