Wool Hand Bag - Dark Grey

This bag is made with a maharam wool which I did not dye but instead embroidered with cotton thread that was dyed with gardenia fruit. The strap was dyed in charcoal grey. The liner a fine vintage cotton dyed in a brilliant blue ombre style.

I also sell a matching poncho in the same textile.

The bag measures 12 inches wide by 9 inches with a 1 inch boxed corner on the bottom

 These bags are all made from left over poncho fabrics and other no waste making practices.

They are all different in size, dye, and slightly in style.

The straps are are cotton cords that have been dyed or not and braided, then are inserted thru a grommet that has been reinforced with leather.

There is a magnetic clasp and a larger size pocket. The liners are all vintage fabrics or repurposed cottons that I collect.

This bag has a bohemian quality that is functional, sustainable and stylish.
