Garden of Colors

Garden of Colors

Summer is finally here in the Pacific Northwest. Of course we still have rain mixed with beautiful sunny hot days but soon everything with dry out. Until then my garden is fluffy and alive with green leaves and blooming buds. I have already started to harvest my roses for dyeing my new collection but what I am most excited about is the hollyhock that I planted last year. Hollyhock blooms the second year when it is started from seed. I use a lot of this precious flower for my dyes and am happy to finally have a decent crop. So today I am posting my garden like a proud mother.

Also, I would like to share a recent interview I had with Alyssa Couture. She asked me very thought provoking questions that made me feel everything may just be falling into place. Check it out…..
