Botanical Print Poncho - natural dyed

This silk poncho was made with a silk crepe that was dyed with roses and rust. It is a little different than the other poncho styles I have available in that I have sewn the side on the outside to create a loose space for your arms. It measures about 50x58". The clasp is a hook and eye style that is reinforced with a fabric at the attachment point so it will not tear. The pattern is created from roses I have harvested and rust bits that are placed in the folds and composted for several days. There is a touch of gardenia added which gives the yellow color. Each piece made is original yet the pattern can be repeated. Because of the clasp being set lower it is better suited for a larger individual or someone with broad shoulders. Hand washing and air dry is recommended. It is my pleasure to make adornments for your body!
