Cotton Thread - 5/2

This pearl cotton thread is mercerized and two ply.  It is not meant to be untwisted like embroidery floss.  However this is a great thread to use in creating stitches for embroidery projects or mending - Sashiko stitch work.

Each spool is 8 yards of thread.

I also offer a thinner thread 10/2

The color was created with natural dyes and pigments.

Marigold / iron, sappanwood, charcoal, gardenia, cochineal

The sappanwood is slightly more red and the cochineal has a little more of a pink shade.
