Alpaca Silk Thread - natural dyed

This thread is 80% alpaca and 20% silk spun in two plys.  It is not meant to be untwisted like embroidery floss.  However this is a great thread to use in creating stitches for embroidery projects or mending - Sashiko stitch work.

The results are a slightly fuzzy soft texture.

Each spool has 8 yards of thread.

The color was created with natural dyes and pigments.
